after years of being chronically overwhelmed by the fast-paced nature of the modern internet, and yet simultaneously underhwelmed by its cold, corporate and bland contents i had resigned myself to the fact that the internet was dead and would never be the same again.
however, finding this corner of the internet reignited a feeling of joy for the internet that i haven't felt since i could first access it as a child.
i'm 21 at the time of writing this, so i might not have vivid memories of using social media during the golden age of the internet; but i do remember scrolling the internet once being a fun activity rather than being taken as a given.
with this site, i aim to carve my own corner of the internet, one that i can actually tailor to my interests and enjoy, without wasting my time on what always just leaves me feeling unfulfilled and empty.
i also want to share some of my thoughts through blog posts and any of my fiction writings that i deem worthy of sharing.
